For Omni accounts with a Talos Enterprise Linux entitlement, Enterprise Image Factory is already configured as the source for all installation media and upgrade images. Machines convert to Talos Enterprise Linux automatically on the next schematic change after Talos Linux 1.13 or later is running. To get started, see the Getting Started with Omni guide. To move existing clusters from open-source Talos Linux to Talos Enterprise Linux, see Migrate Clusters to Talos Enterprise Linux.

Access security artifacts

You can access vulnerability reports, SBOMs, and VEX documents for your cluster through the Omni UI or the CLI. For information on how to interpret scan results, SBOMs, and VEX data, see Scan Talos Enterprise Linux Images With SBOM and VEX.
  1. In the Omni dashboard, go to Clusters and select your cluster.
  2. Select the Security tab to view vulnerability reports for your cluster’s running Talos version, including CVE counts and the impact of upgrading.
